Qualified checks for reliable cabin cooling
Regas or repair identified
We test the system before deciding which route fits the symptoms.
Refrigerant handled correctly
Our Level 3 training and F-Gas certification support safe servicing.
Demisting benefits restored
Working air conditioning helps clear moisture as well as cool the cabin.
Know whether the system needs gas or repair
Weak cooling does not automatically mean the air conditioning only needs more refrigerant. Loss of gas can be linked to a leak, while unusual noise, odour or a system that won't engage may point elsewhere. We check pressure and performance to understand how the system is behaving before deciding whether a car air con regas or further repair is suitable. Our work is backed by an IMI Awards Level 3 qualification in Automotive Air Conditioning Servicing and Maintenance, together with F-Gas certification. That knowledge supports safe refrigerant handling and more informed fault decisions.

Useful comfort in every season
Effective air conditioning cools the cabin in summer, but it also helps remove moisture from the air for faster demisting in colder weather. Regular system use can support year-round operation and reveal changes before the next hot day exposes them. During assessment, we consider cooling output, system engagement and pressure behaviour. A routine refrigerant service may restore performance where the system is otherwise sound. If readings suggest a fault, we explain why a simple regas may not hold and discuss further investigation. This saves you from treating every loss of cooling as the same problem.
Frequently asked questions
Does weak cooling always mean my car needs a regas?
No. Low refrigerant is common, but a leak, electrical fault, failed component or control issue can produce similar symptoms. We check pressure and performance first, then explain whether a regas or further investigation is the sensible route.
Why should I use air conditioning during winter?
Air conditioning removes moisture from cabin air, which helps demist glass. Using it through the year also lets you notice changes in operation before summer. The system still depends on suitable conditions and the vehicle's climate controls.
Can you repair an air conditioning system that will not engage?
We can assess systems that fail to operate and determine whether refrigerant pressure, electrical control or another fault needs attention. A non-engaging system should be tested rather than automatically regassed, because low pressure may be a symptom.
