Garage work with less disruption to your day
Finding time to drop off and collect a vehicle can make essential maintenance harder to arrange. Our free car collection service reduces that disruption by moving the vehicle to our workshop and returning it after the agreed work is complete. We arrange the journey in advance, confirm where the car and keys will be available, and keep the booking linked to the requested service or reported fault. You still receive the same discussion about findings and repair decisions. The difference is that you don't have to build two workshop journeys into your day simply to get planned garage work completed.

A smooth handover starts with useful details
To arrange collection, we need the address, vehicle registration, make and model, requested work and a suitable contact number. We also agree how the keys will be handed over and when access is available. Tell us about warning lights, mechanical symptoms and the vehicle's roadworthiness when booking. A car that cannot be driven safely may need different transport arrangements, so collection should never be assumed without that conversation. Once the agreed work is finished, we organise delivery back to the arranged location and make sure you understand any advice linked to the repair.
Frequently asked questions
What details do you need to arrange collection?
We need the collection address, vehicle registration, make and model, required work and a contact number. We also discuss the preferred timing, where the keys will be available and how we can reach you if inspection reveals another concern.
Can you collect a vehicle that is unsafe to drive?
Tell us about its condition before the booking. Our standard collection arrangements may not suit a vehicle that cannot be driven safely or legally. We need to understand the fault first so we can discuss whether another transport route is required.
Will you contact me before carrying out extra repairs?
Yes. Collection does not change how repair decisions are handled. If we identify additional work, we explain the finding and discuss the next step with you. We don't treat the vehicle's absence from your home as automatic approval.
